1. Definitions

  • “Product”: Any eyeglasses, contact lenses, frames, sunglasses, or accessories offered for sale.
  • “Order”: A purchase of one or more products through the website.

2. Website Use

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information (username, password).
  • The company reserves the right to terminate your account or block your access to the site in case of violation of these terms.
  • The website may not be used for any illegal purpose.

3. Products & Prices

  • Product Images: Images on the website are for illustrative purposes only. Actual colors may vary slightly based on your screen settings.
  • Prices: All prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and include VAT.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change product prices at any time without prior notice. The applicable price is the one displayed at checkout.
  • Contact Lenses & Prescriptions: Contact lenses and prescription products are subject to a separate policy (see Medical Products section below).

4. Orders & Availability

  • After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation message via email or WhatsApp.
  • Confirmation does not equal final acceptance. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any order for reasons including:
    • Product out of stock.
    • Pricing error.
    • Suspected fraudulent activity.
    • Inability to verify payment or address information.
  • If an order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund within 7-14 business days.

5. Shipping, Delivery & In-Store Pickup

  • We deliver to all governorates within Egypt. We do not currently ship internationally.
  • Delivery fees are calculated based on the governorate and added at checkout.
  • Orders above 2000 EGP qualify for free delivery (to all governorates).
  • Expected delivery time: 2-5 business days depending on the governorate.
  • Prescription contact lenses may require an additional 5-7 business days for processing.
  • The customer is responsible for providing a correct and accessible address.
  • If the customer is not present at the specified address at the time of delivery, a second attempt may be made, potentially with additional fees.

In-Store Pickup (Free of Charge)

  • You may choose to pick up your order for free from the nearest Adams Optics branch instead of home delivery.
  • At checkout, select “In-Store Pickup” and choose the nearest branch from the list.
  • You will be notified via SMS or WhatsApp when your order is ready for pickup.
  • Please bring your national ID card or a copy of the order when visiting the branch.
  • The pickup period is 7 days from the notification date. After this period, the products will be returned to inventory and the order may be cancelled.

6. Return, Exchange & Warranty

  • Return & Exchange: You may exchange or return a product within 14 days of receipt, provided the product is in its original, unused packaging.
  • Non-Returnable Items:
    • Contact lenses after opening the package (for health reasons).
    • Contact lens solution after opening.
    • Frames that have been fitted with prescription lenses based on customer measurements.
  • Warranty:
    • Frames & Sunglasses: 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
    • Prescription Lenses: 6-month warranty against coating peeling.
    • Accessories: 3-month warranty.
  • Manufacturing Defects: If a product has a confirmed manufacturing defect, we bear all shipping costs and replace it immediately.

7. Medical Products (Contact Lenses & Prescription Lenses)

  • Prescription: You are solely responsible for entering the correct prescription. We recommend consulting an eye doctor before purchasing.
  • We Do Not Provide Prescriptions: We sell medical products based on a prescription from your doctor. We do not provide medical advice through the website.
  • Prescription Verification: We reserve the right to contact your doctor to verify the prescription.
  • Health Warning: Improper use of contact lenses can lead to serious eye health issues. Please follow your doctor’s instructions and the product instructions.
  • Prescription Expiry: We do not accept prescriptions older than one year.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the website (images, text, logos, designs) is the exclusive property of Adams Optics.
  • No content may be copied, republished, or distributed without prior written permission from the company.
  • The name “Adams Optics” and its logo are registered trademarks.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • “As Is” Website: We provide the website and products “as is.” We do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation.
  • Use at Your Own Risk: Product use is at your own risk. We always recommend consulting an eye doctor.
  • Maximum Liability: In any case, the company’s liability to any customer shall not exceed the value of the customer’s order.
  • Indirect Damages: The company is not liable for any indirect damages (such as loss of profits, business interruption, or personal injury) arising from the use of the website or products.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions and your relationship with us are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
  • Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
